Fitness doesn’t take a lot of money and fancy equipment. What it takes is will and opportunity. I’ve never paid for a push-up or a sit-up in my life and I’ve done millions.

I work out 50 weeks a year because I want to keep getting better.

Any workout routine must be regimented and consistent. You can’t lift weights this week and not the next. It requires a real commitment to building a powerful body, toning it or whatever your overall goal might be.
— Tiger Woods
Set aside time in your schedule to exercise at least three times a week for one hour a day.

As the CEO of a substantial company, finding time to exercise three or four days a week was the most difficult thing in the world. I finally learned to treat it like another appointment. I even told my secretary to schedule it.

It is so true. In August I decided I had to lose weight and get fit. I started riding my cycle at least five days a week, and recording everything I ate in MyFitnessPal on my iphone. I have lost over sixty pounds and I am continuing my regimen. There are days when I really don’t want to, but I find that when I am finished, I feel better and I am glad I did. There is pain; there is exhaustion; but they were present before I started. Now, the pain has a result attached to it and the exhaustion brings on good sleep. For me, exercise has turned into a win-win. My wife likes me better too.
Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your success story. I pray that it will inspire others.
